Multilayer Technology Invests in Electrical Test Equipment
Irving, Texas - Multilayer Technology, a leading domestic PCB prototyping facility, announced the purchase of a Mania Ultim8 Flying Probe electrical tester. The investment continues the Texas fabricator's recent history of upgrading its Irving facility.
The Mania Ultim8, a four-head flying probe tester, can test over 5,000 test points per minute. Multilayer President Viny Mulani said, "We purchased this machine to increase our electrical test capacity. This means we will be able to make quicker turns & help increase our electrical test output."
For Multilayer, the Mania Ultim8 Flying Probe tester will be woven into its existing electrical test processes. Along with two New System flying grid testers, the company also uses two CircuitLine dual-sided clamshell netlist testers.
