Metaldyne Launches New Powder Metal Microsite

PLYMOUTH, Mich., April 2: Metaldyne, an Asahi Tec company, today launched its new Powder Metal Microsite, which offers an in-depth view of the company's innovative powder metal products and technology.

An educational tool, the site allows visitors to learn about powder metal technology though technical papers, industry links and commentaries from Metaldyne product engineers. The site features an interactive tour, a product gallery and explains the powder metal manufacturing process. Visitors will be able to contact Metaldyne experts for more information.

"Metaldyne is a world leader in powder metal today." said George Lanni, director, Sales and Engineering. "This site will help our present and future customers better understand our products, technology and added value. In today's dynamic environment, the ability to net form a product which requires no further processing is a tremendous advantage to our customers."

The microsite was developed by the Sintered Products team. "The team used its knowledge and global expertise to provide meaningful content for this site," says Lanni. "What makes it truly unique is that customers can access it 24/7 and explore at their own pace."

The microsite will soon be available in Japanese. Other microsites are under development and will go live throughout 2007.
