Met-Pro Corporation Director Named Chairman of Drexel University College of Medicine Board

Harleysville, PA, May 24, 2011 - Raymond J. De Hont, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Met-Pro Corporation (NYSE: MPR), is proud to announce that one of the Company's Directors, and former Chief Executive Officer and President of PQ Corporation, Stanley W. Silverman, has been named as Chairman of the Drexel University College of Medicine Board of Trustees. A Drexel alumnus, Silverman has served on the University's Board of Trustees for 11 years and the College of Medicine Board for four.

Silverman, who received an undergraduate degree in chemical engineering and an MBA from Drexel, currently chairs the finance committee for the University's Board of Trustees. He also sits on the advisory board for Drexel's LeBow College of Business. At Met-Pro Corporation, he serves on the Board's Audit Committee and the Compensation and Management Development Committee.
