Mazak Announces Spring Open House at Midwest Technology Center
Florence, Kentucky, February 9, 2009 - Mazak has announced a two-day Open House at its Midwest Technology Center in Schaumburg, Illinois, entitled "Succeeding in Today's Economy - Tomorrow's Solutions, Here Today." Taking place on March 17 & 18, the event will include numerous speakers, along with eight Productivity Solutions seminars, all of which will focus on taking concrete steps to ensure continued profitability in a troubled economy.
During the two-day event, attendees will have the opportunity to hear from speakers representing a wide variety of Mazak's strategic partners. Kennametal, Sandvik Coromant, LNS, Master Cam, Gibbs, Renishaw, SMW and Fanuc Robotics will be presenting Productivity Solutions seminars during the Open House.
Cutting demonstrations will be held on 2-axis, 3-axis and multi-tasking machining centers and lathes. Machines being demonstrated will include the QUICK TURN NEXUS 250, QUICK TURN NEXUS 200 MSY, VCN 700D, INTEGREX 400-IV ST, HCN 4000, HCN 6000, VARIAXIS 630 T, HYPER QUADREX 100 MSY and HYPER QUADREX 200 MSY.
Following the two-day Open House, a Career Day will take place on March 19. Students from local high schools and colleges will be invited to attend and speakers will focus on topics relevant to those considering careers in manufacturing.
