Local Culligan Dealer Appointed to National Bottled Water Board

Brockville, Ontario - Hard work is once again paying off for Eastern Ontario Water Technology Ltd. d.b.a Culligan of Eastern Ontario. John Worsnop, plant manager of the Culligan bottling plant in Brockville, has accepted a position on the board of directors for the Canadian Bottled Water Association (CBWA).

Worsnop, who has led the facility's efforts for the past 10 years, said he's looking forward to adding his insight, experience and effort to the board's mission.

"I'm honored to represent Culligan," adds Worsnop. "Being asked to join the board of directors speaks volumes for the hard work that takes place here each and every day."
The CBWA governs the bottled water industry throughout Canada, and its members are expected to uphold the group's mission to provide safe and clean water to the country's citizens. The organization enforces its rigorous standards through an "annual, unannounced plant inspection by an independent, internationally recognized third-party organization."

Hugh Grout, president of Culligan of Eastern Ontario says he's pleased that Culligan is represented on the board of directors.
"We are very proud of this," says Grout. "Culligan is committed to excellence, and representation on the board is another way for us to demonstrate that commitment."
The Brockville bottling plant provides bottled water to Culligan of Eastern Ontario and Western Quebec's six dealerships, as well as locations in Peterborough and Belleville. It received the "Excellence in Manufacturing" award last year following an annual audit by the CBWA.
