L-Com Earns Silver Web Channel Award at the 2008 Multichannel Merchant Awards Ceremony

North Andover, MA o May 22, 2008 --L-com announced today that its web site won the Silver Web Channel Award in the Computer and High Tech Equipment category during the 23rd Annual Multichannel Merchant Awards (MCM Awards), presented by MULTICHANNEL MERCHANT during a luncheon ceremony at the Annual Conference for Catalog & Multichannel Merchants in Orlando, FL.

The MCM Awards entrants are evaluated by a panel of experts through a series of three judging sessions: pre-screening, in-home evaluations and a final judging session. Entries are evaluated on creativity, merchandising, copy, customer service/navigation and marketing execution. The highest scoring entry in each category receives a Gold Award, while the second highest scoring entry in each category receives a Silver Award. Winners will be featured in MULTICHANNEL MERCHANT magazine's annual awards issue.

"The Multichannel Merchant Awards are the height of achievement for catalog and web merchants," said Leslie Bacon, MULTICHANNEL MERCHANT publisher. "The Awards are not a beauty or circulation contest; they're not about who's the biggest or most unusual. It's about meeting-and exceeding-merchandising, marketing, service, production and creative standards."

"Winning the Silver Award is a great thrill for us," said Ed Caselden, L-com's CEO. "It shows that we are committed to high standards for our web site."

This award joins the Electronics Standard of Excellence that L-com won in September of 2007 from the WMA's WebAwards.
