Jungheinrich Ag Names Hans-Georg Frey Chairman of the Board of Management


HAMBURG, GERMANY - Effective May 1, 2007, Hans-Georg Frey will become Chairman of the Board of Management of Jungheinrich AG.

Prior to this appointment and since the end of 2001, Hans-Georg Frey has been vested with full power of attorney at Liebherr Werk Ehingen GmbH, where he has also served as the company's managing director since 2003. As managing director Mr. Frey was responsible for the company's global sales and service business. Liebherr Werk Ehingen GmbH is a world-leading manufacturer of vehicle cranes and heavy-duty crawler cranes.

Mr. Frey also served (1996-2001) as the managing director of sales, marketing, materials management and human resources at Spindelfabrik Suessen GmBH, a ring spinning and rotor spinning company. Mr. Frey joined the firm in 1986 and fulfilled various functions, culminating in his appointment as managing director.

Mr. Frey studied law at the universities of Erlangen (Germany), Lausanne (Switzerland) and Tubingen (Germany) and received his second legal state examination in 1986. He also studied business administration in Zurich (Switzerland) and Albany, New York (USA).
