Jenoptik to Present the New QCW Stack Generation at LASER World of PHOTONICS

Jenoptik's Lasers Material Processing division will present its innovations from June 22 to 25 at booth 235 in hall A3 at the world's leading trade fair for the laser and photonics industry taking place in Munich.

Jenoptik will present, for the first time, the JenLas® QCW Cool laser stack, whose key feature is an optimized and intelligent bar design, enabling extremely high light output powers for various QCW applications. The modules can be adapted to individual customer requirements and are suitable both for applications requiring high brilliance and high peak output power as well as for applications requiring long pulse lengths while providing reliable operation and efficient heat removal.

The improved stack, when equipped with eight laser bars, offers an optical output power of 580 W for 100 ms pulses at 20 percent duty cycle. That makes the stack perfect for use in dermatology. Additionally, in long-pulse mode, the innovative stack design permits an exceptionally long lifetime of 15 Mshots.

Despite the dense arrangement of the bars, the JenLas® QCW Cool has a low thermal resistance because of the directly integrated and easy-to-use tap water cooling. For more information on Jenoptik laser products, please visit us in Munich at LASER World of PHOTONICS, hall A3, booth 235.
