Material Compatibility Findings to Be Presented During the IPC and SMTA High-Reliability Cleaning and Conformal Coating Conference
ROSEMONT, IL — Industry-leading associations IPC and SMTA jointly announce the High-Reliability Cleaning and Conformal Coating Conference scheduled to take place November 18-20, 2014 at the Chicago Marriott in Schaumburg, IL. The conference intensely focuses on best practices and new innovative technologies for meeting today’s manufacturing challenges and producing reliable hardware.
Dave Adams of Rockwell Collins will chair Session #6 “Material Compatibility.”
Eddie Hofer of Rockwell Collins will present on “Electronic Components and Material Compatibility Guideline to aide in the evaluation of materials with chemistries used in today's cleaning processes, with a Report on Committee activity.”
Don Dupriest of Lockheed Martin will present on “Auditing Suppliers to Assure Materials Meet Process Specifications.”
Dr. Carlyn Smith of Harris will present on “Standard manufacturing aides (e.g. cotton swabs, gloves, tape, syringes) that can cause contaminations that you may not think about - with some information about when it might matter.”
Amanda Rickman of Raytheon “Parylene Process Optimization and other Vacuum Deposited Coatings.”
