Meet the Forward Thinkers of Today at IPC APEX EXPO 2016 Free Networking Events

IPC APEX EXPO 2016 attendees can meet with electronics industry innovators and connect with peers in one place at one time at the Las Vegas Convention Center, March 13–17.

From the exhibit floor to the classroom and everywhere in between, including the International Reception, (by invitation); First-Timers’ Welcome Meeting; show floor reception; Women in Electronics Networking Reception; Annual Town Hall Meeting, awards luncheons, and more, attendees can connect and collaborate.

Among the highly anticipated special events is a free opening keynote by inventor and entrepreneur, Dean Kamen. On Tuesday, March 15, Kamen will present, “Inventions and Innovations,” detailing ways to use technology to solve problems that improve life, while honoring the human spirit. On Wednesday, March 16, Peter Singer, strategist and senior fellow at the New America Foundation, will show how science fiction is fast becoming a reality on the battlefield, changing not just how wars are fought, but also the politics, economics, laws and ethics that surround war itself during his presentation, “Inside the Rise of Warbots.”

In addition, tackling the hot topics that have the electronics industry buzzing, seven free BUZZ sessions will be offered. The industry’s top technical experts on subjects ranging from conformal coating and high reliability lead-free solder alloys to U.S. advanced manufacturing and a market outlook for the global electronics supply chain will provide insights into timely issues surrounding each of these BUZZ-worthy topics.

“The special events at the show add tremendous value for attendees,” says Alicia Balonek, IPC senior director of trade shows and events. “Most of the events are free with advance registration — whether you register in advance for complimentary exhibit hall admission or sign up for our most comprehensive educational package, the All-Access Package. No other event provides the diversity of programs, education and unrivaled networking opportunities that IPC APEX EXPO delivers.”
