Session 8 Agenda Announced for the High-Reliability Cleaning and Coating Conference



ROSEMONT, IL —  Industry-leading associations IPC and SMTA jointly announce the agenda for Session 8 of the High-Reliability Cleaning and Coating Conference, scheduled to take place November 13-15, 2012 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel – O’Hare in Chicago, IL.  The conference is intensely focused on electronics assembly reliability, and the influence of cleaning and coating upon producing reliable hardware.



The Environmental Standards and Regulations session will provide insight into the Ozone Transport Commission’s (OTC) move to legislate the reduction of volatile organic carbons (VOCs) in densely populated states located in the Northeast. Additionally, presentations will be given on EPA’s Design for the Environment developed to reduce hazards posed by chemicals used within the work space, REACH, RoHS2, SVHC and Conflict Minerals and how they affect the assembly business, and on alternative conformal coating solutions that reduce toxicity while keeping an optimal level of quality and sustainability.



The Environmental Standards and Regulations session will be chaired by Lee Wilmot of TTM Technologies. The speakers and topics are as follows:
