The Hydraulic Institute Announces Upcoming Variable Speed Drives 4-Part Webinar Series



Parsippany NJ – The Hydraulic Institute (HI) has announced the dates of the upcoming Variable Speed Drives 4-part webinar series. Webinar participants will be led by leading industry experts. The opening session will be held September 9, 2014. Participants who complete the full series earn 4 Professional Development Hour (PDH) credits directly from HI.



Webinar participants learn how to significantly improve pump systems reliability when using Variable Speed Drives (VSDs). The series covers how VSDs may be used to accommodate duty cycles with variable flow and head as well as applications to avoid. Energy optimization, life cycle reduction, single-phase to three-phase power conversion, and inrush current reduction will be discussed in the series.
