PHOENIX, April 21, 2009 - Honeywell (NYSE:HON) today announced that the program for its 2009 Honeywell Users Group Americas symposium - themed ROI: Return on Imagination - will provide process manufacturing professionals a fresh perspective on solutions that deliver bottom-line benefits and drive plant efficiencies. The event, one of the process industries' largest annual customer gatherings, will be held June 14-18 at the Marriott Desert Ridge Resort & Spa in Phoenix.

"Driving returns on current assets, sustaining asset life and maximizing operational performance are top of mind for all of our customers and have always been core Honeywell values," said Frank Whitsura, Vice President and General Manager, Honeywell Process Solutions Americas. "The 2009 Users Group Americas curriculum will help our customers make the most of their employees and technology. We will demonstrate tangible, "shovel ready" solutions for achieving peak efficiency at minimum cost in their plants and mills now, when they need it most."

Attendees who register for the event by May 15 receive a $200 discount on the registration fee. Honeywell is also offering attendees free technical training courses, including courses offered through the International Society of Automation (ISA), the Abnormal Situation Management (ASM®) Consortium and Fieldbus Foundation(TM). The combined value of these free courses is approximately $750. Other notable training sessions address topics such as network design and commissioning Honeywell's OneWireless(TM) industrial wireless mesh network, and other Honeywell product-specific courses. Additionally, individuals who attend can receive continuing education credits (CEUs) from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV).

To extend the Honeywell Users Group community beyond the annual global events, the Process Solutions business created a LinkedIn group named "Honeywell Users Group for Process Solutions." This global forum will enable Honeywell Process Solutions customers, business partners and Honeywell experts to discuss challenges and best practices year-round to help enhance business results.

The four-day event will include presentations from Honeywell customers and industry experts, and live demonstrations of Honeywell's newest technology. The Honeywell Users Group Steering Committee, which includes representatives from 12 customer companies and three Honeywell representatives, develops the meeting's curriculum.
