Henkel Presents Educational Sessions at ATEXPO


Rocky Hill, Conn. - July 26, 2006... Application engineers from Henkel Corporation, a leading supplier of adhesives including the popular Loctite® brand, will deliver three technical presentations at the 2006 Assembly Technology Expo (AT Expo) at the Rosemont Convention Center in Chicago on Wednesday, September 27 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:50 p.m. The presentations will be part of the educational tract "Advantages of Adhesive Fasteners to Replace Mechanical Joining Methods" sponsored by the Adhesives and Sealants Council and Adhesives & Sealants Industry (ASI) Magazine.

Henkel applications engineer Brian Noonan will present "The Benefits of Volumetric Dispensing of Adhesives," a discussion of the newest volumetric adhesive dispensing equipment and its benefits over alternative dispensing methods.

Applications engineer Tim Graver will present "Advances in Cyanoacrylate Technology," an overview of available instant adhesive formulations and their benefits to manufacturers, related design and process considerations, and a look into the future of cyanoacrylate adhesives and dispense options.

Applications engineer Darryl Small will present "Weld Reduction through Structural Metal Bonding," a look at replacing welding and mechanical fasteners with structural adhesives for metal-to-metal, metal-to-plastic, and metal-to-composite bonding.

In addition, John Cocco, Henkel's Vice President, Global Product Development, will be a member of the keynote panel discussion "What's Next in Assembly" to be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 26.
