ELFA Appoints Heather Staverman as Director of Meetings and Exhibits



Washington, D.C. – The Equipment Leasing and Finance Association announces that Heather Staverman, CMP, has joined the organization as Director of Meetings and Exhibits, effective Sept. 10. In this position, Staverman will plan, manage, implement and promote several business development conferences, exhibitions and awards programs.



Staverman formerly worked at the American Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ASPRS), in Bethesda, Maryland, where she was Assistant Director of Communications and Meetings Manager. During her successful tenure at ASPRS, Staverman led the daily operations for the events team, oversaw strategy and planning of meetings and special events and led various committees. Prior to ASPRS she was a Program Manager at the National Association of Home Builders in Washington, D.C. She has a bachelor’s degree in business management and marketing from Kansas State University and also holds the Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) certification from the Convention Industry Council.
