Harrington Joins Zeller Plastik to Lead Strategy & Marketing Development

Libertyville, Illinois (August 3, 2007)-Global Closure Systems (GCS), one of the world's largest suppliers of plastic and metal closing and dispensing systems, announces Pat Harrington has joined the Zeller Plastik, Inc. USA division of GCS to head strategy & market development.
In this role, Harrington will lead all marketing efforts for the US office, with special focus on strategy and market development. Her responsibilities will directly support Zeller Plastik's focus on developing innovative products and entering new markets.

Harrington joins GCS after holding strategy and marketing leadership positions with USA Strategies and Smurfit-Stone Container Corporation. Throughout her career, she has managed a variety of functions including integrated marketing strategy, market research, marketing materials, web and on-line marketing, trade shows and exhibits, advertising and sales support.

Harrington holds an MBA in Marketing from Keller Graduate School of Management and a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Management from Calumet College of St. Joseph. In addition, she is a Certified Business Communicator (CBC), a professional designation that recognizes knowledge and professional conduct in the field of business-to-business marketing communications.
