Leading product design awards turn spotlight on MT-4008W
London, UK – Posiflex Technology, Inc., a global leading brand in the design and manufacture of POS solutions and peripherals, has been recognised by the internationally renowned Red Dot Award: Product Design 2015. The MT-4008W, a revolutionary mobile POS solution which was launched at the end of 2014, was one of the entries to be bestowed with the honour of an award and was amongst winners selected from a total of 4928 entries from 56 countries.
The Red Dot Award, which celebrates its 60th anniversary this year, commends excellence in product design from a range of diverse categories and is judged by an international panel of experts across different design disciplines. It has become the most recognised product competition in the world attracting entries from leading global brands.
The Posiflex MT-4008W is a ground-breaking solution designed to provide retailers and hospitality companies with the mobility of a tablet combined with the powerful functionality of a stationary POS in one hybrid system. The 8” mobile tablet supports an MSR attachment and can be integrated with the choice of a detachable pistol grip or a hand strap depending on the application. This concept, of hybrid POS is a perfect fit for both retail and hospitality, offering upward mobility as well as the advantages of a stationary POS system that delivers greater efficiency and speed.
