Gillinder Glass to Exhibit at inter airport Europe in October


PORT JERVIS, N.Y. – Custom glass manufacturer Gillinder Glass will showcase glass domes and prisms for airport runway and taxiway applications at inter airport Europe 2015. This year’s event will take place Oct. 6-9 at the Munich Trade Fair in Germany.

The Gillinder Glass booth will be located in the North American Pavilion. It will display a full line of glass solutions for elevated and in-pavement light fixtures. These glass domes, lenses and optical prisms are scientifically designed and developed to specific chromaticity and directional light measurements for the OEM fixture manufacturer to meet FAA and ICAO standards for airfield lighting.



Gillinder’s full line of glass products include MIRL and HIRL domes for elevated edge light fixtures, beacon covers, PAPI filters and optics, as well as flush and near flush optical prisms for in-pavement lights. President Charlie Gillinder “hinted” that there may be some new glass technology unveiled as well at the exhibition.
