Future Electronics Promotes the LPC1500 Series and Motor Control Kit from NXP

Press release date: June 9, 2014

Pointe Claire, Quebec - Future Electronics, a global leading distributor of electronic components, is pleased to promote NXP's LPC1500 Series and Motor Control Kit.

The LPC1549 Brushless DC motor control solution helps to get started with motor control protoyping immediately. It utilizes the SCTimer / PWM available on the LPC1549 MCU for the motor operation. The SCTimer/PWM combines the features of a timer and a state machine, making it possible to develop sophisticated solutions in the digital control field.

The LPCXpresso Motor Control Kit makes it easy to get started with motor control prototyping immediately. It is a platform for low voltage motor control based on NXP's MCUs. With this universal platform it is possible to control BLDC, BLAC, stepper and dual brushed DC motors.

NXP's LPC1500 Motion Control Solution comes equipped with an optimized motion-control unit comprised of interconnected 2 Msps ADCs, high-speed PWMs with dead time, on-chip comparators, and a Cortex-M3 core. These advanced MCUs simplify development and reduce time-to-market for sensored and sensorless motion-control applications in industrial and consumer segments.
