The FCHEA Transportation Working Group (TWG) is now meeting monthly. In addition to status updates and a review of the FCHEA Regulatory Matrix, formal reports are provided for task groups for this working group. Once complete, the minutes are posted on the FCHEA Members area of the FCHEA website.

The working group has been discussing the various areas of interest and priority for working group participants, which included deployment of a hydrogen infrastructure, codes, standards and regulations, and how to maximize the effectiveness of the Transportation Working Group with a limited budget.

The TWG is seeking a subject matter expert in piping codes amongst our membership to advance the codes and standards in this area. The Transportation Working Group seeks to be a resource for subject matter expertise required to advance codes and standards. Members who can help in this area are encouraged to contact Karen Hall at khall@fchea.org.

The Transportation Working Group is also helping to create key messages on the issue of natural gas as a transition strategy for hydrogen.

The next meeting will be held by webinar on Tuesday April 10th. All FCHEA members are welcome to participate. Non-members are welcome to express an interest to Connor Dolan, FCHEA External Affairs Manager, at cdolan@fchea.org.
