Congressman Tim Walz Tours Creation Technologies in Minnesota



Briefing hosted by IPC as Part of Ongoing Effort to Connect Electronics Industry with Policymakers



BANNOCKBURN, Ill. — Today, Congressman Tim Walz (D-MN-1) met with executives and employees of IPC-member company Creation Technologies at the company’s custom-built manufacturing facility in St. Peter, Minn. Coordinated by IPC, this visit is part of a nationwide effort to educate policymakers about legislative and regulatory issues that affect the electronics manufacturing industry.



“I’m grateful to Creation Technologies and IPC for hosting today’s meeting and tour,” said Rep. Walz. “Manufacturing in America is back, and we need to do all we can to support it. Hearing directly from folks like Creation Technologies and IPC is extremely helpful as Congress looks for ways to support innovation and growth in this vital industry.”



With facilities across the USA, Canada, Mexico, and China, Creation Technologies has decades of experience designing, manufacturing, and providing customized supply chain solutions to original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) around the world. The St. Peter facility’s General Manager, John Makela, hosted the site visit and led discussions on issues including fostering innovation, research and development, tax credits, and regulatory compliance.
