Toronto, Canada - GAO Fiber Optics (www.GAOFiberOptics.com) recommends its Cisco compatible 10GBASE-SR XFP transceiver fully compliant with original Cisco fiber optic transceiver. It can be used in switches and modules that use XFP transceivers.
This high performance Cisco compatible 10GBASE-SR XFP transceiver, model C015XF01, is a fully integrated 10.3 Gbit/s optical transceiver module that consists of an 850 nm wavelength optical transmitter and a receiver with a PIN photodiode. It uses an 850 nm VCSEL laser diode to achieve a transmission distance of up to 300 m over 50/125 multi-mode fiber.
The hot-pluggable transceiver features up to 10.3 GBd bi-directional data links, low power consumption and RoHS compliance. It provides built-in digital diagnosis monitoring function and excellent EMI performance. In addition, the transceiver is compliant to IEEE802.3ae, 10GBASE-SR application and XFP Multi-Source Agreement (MSA).
This Cisco compatible 10GBASE-SR XFP transceiver belongs to GAO's family of Cisco Compatible Optical Transceivers.
