CAS DataLoggers Offers Temperature Calibration Services

We Provide NIST-Traceable Calibration for Regulatory Compliance

CHESTERLAND OH — Calibration is necessary for Sensors and Data loggers in many industries and applications to ensure certified measurements in line with regulatory demands. At CAS DataLoggers we offer in-house temperature calibration service to customers in medical, life science and laboratory applications. At pricing competitive with third-party calibrators, our calibration service provides you with reliable dataloggers to meet any temperature monitoring application.

We provide calibration support for many of our temperature dataloggers including TD, Lascar, Accsense, and other dataloggers using an external sensor. We also offer official Certificates of Calibration and NIST-Traceable Calibration as proof of regulatory compliance.

CAS DataLoggers is one of only a few distributors offering calibration to customers, fulfilling over a hundred requests since we began offering the service in 2012. We also provide temperature calibration data and recertification of previously-installed temperature monitoring systems and devices.

We offer pricing competitive with third-party calibrators. Price varies by the number of temperature monitoring points and the datalogger model. We can also calibrate humidity sensors, typically used in cold chain and in environmental applications.

Medical Monitoring:

Temperature calibration is required in the CDC Guidelines for temperature sensors used for medical monitoring applications including children's vaccine storage, life science storage and more.

The CDC's 2014 'Vaccine Storage and Handling Toolkit' states:

"All temperature monitoring devices experience 'drift' over time that affects their accuracy….If there is any question about accuracy, your device should be sent for calibration testing or a new device should be obtained…Calibration testing should be performed every 1 to 2 years or according to manufacturer's suggested timeline…Customers in the medical industry will especially benefit from having documented proof that their dataloggers are up to the most exacting accuracy standards."

For continual monitoring of vaccine storage unit temperatures, CDC recommends using only calibrated temperature monitoring devices with a Certificate of Traceability and Calibration Testing (also known as Report of Calibration).

We typically calibrate sensor and temperature dataloggers for life science monitoring applications using medical refrigerators, freezers and incubators. For example we commonly calibrate to -20°C for freezer temperature monitoring applications.

CAS Data Loggers is a distributor of data loggers, paperless chart recorders and data acquisition equipment. We sell directly to end users and also work through a network of distributors and resellers throughout the United States, Canada, Central and South America. We have been in business for over 20 years, and actively involved in selling data loggers and real-time systems since 2001.
