Carl Sittard Joins Argotec as Vice President of Marketing
GREENFIELD, MA, March 30, 2011 - Argotec Inc. of Greenfield, Massachusetts today announced the addition of Carl Sittard to the new position of vice president of marketing. He brings to Argotec a strong background in the commercial leadership side of plastic manufacturing and converting, having worked most recently at Judd Wire (A Sumitomo Electric Industries Group Company) in Turners Falls, MA as vice president of sales and marketing, and prior to that at FLEXcon's Graphics Films Unit in Spencer, Massachusetts.
In Mr. Sittard's new position, he will oversee the Business Development, Technical Product Management, Inside Sales and Customer Service Departments, while he reports directly to Bruce Wilby, president and CEO of Argotec. Mr. Wilby stated, "We are pleased to have someone of Carl's caliber joining our team to help manage our future growth."
Mr. Sittard has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Massachusetts in Engineering and an MBA from Western New England College. He resides with his wife and three children in Chicopee, MA.
