Gardner, MA — Biomedical Polymers, Inc. (BMP), a quality manufacturer of plastic consumables for research and medical diagnostics laboratories, announced today that it has received ISO® 13485:2003 certification for its Quality Management System for the manufacture of Medical Devices. In order to meet these requirements for certification, BMP upgraded its quality management system to assist in achieving increased efficiencies, higher performance, and reduced operational costs.
ISO® 13485:2003 specifies requirements for a quality management system where an organization needs to demonstrate its ability to provide medical devices and related services that consistently meet customers’ requirements as well as regulatory requirements applicable to medical devices.
