Bead Industries Looks for New Acquisition to Accelerate Growth
Bead Industries, Inc. is a successful 98 year-old manufacturing and distribution company based in Milford, CT. Their diversified businesses include electronic interconnect, commercial plumbing and Bead Chain® products. Bead acquired Autoswage Products' tubular and square wire swaging operation for cash in December 2010 and successfully integrated that business into their Bead Electronics Division during 2011.
In a statement, company President Ron Andreoli said, "Bead is actively looking to acquire other businesses or product lines that complement our existing businesses and supplement our organic growth strategy."
Bead's core manufacturing processes include high-speed cold forming of small, precision metal parts and automated assembly of custom interconnect products. Bead markets and distributes their interconnect products, commercial plumbing fixtures and Bead Chain® products worldwide through various well developed sales channels.
"Our M&A interests include various metalworking technologies, insert molding and electrical/electronic sensors and sub-assemblies. Additionally, we are interested in acquiring a progressive marketing company - either direct or online - to help expand our presence in key markets," Mr. Andreoli said.
