BAE Systems Appoints Ruth Bowers as Vice President for GSA Programs

ARLINGTON, Virginia - BAE Systems announces the appointment of Ruth Bowers as vice president for General Services Administration (GSA) programs within its Customer Solutions Operating Group. Bowers will lead the company's implementation of the recently-awarded GSA Alliant contract. In August, BAE Systems was one of 29 companies awarded contracts under the ten-year, $50 billion Multiple Award/Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity Alliant program.

Bowers is a certified program management professional with more than 25 years in the federal IT marketplace. She has a proven record in managing government-wide acquisition contract service centers and has been an effective partner with GSA on major programs including GSA Millennia, Millennia Lite, and ANSWER.
