Allied Vision at Automate 2015: New Camera Models Offer More Application Solutions

Allied Vision will exhibit at Automate 2015, showcasing its latest Mako and Manta models for industrial inspection. The large format Prosilica GT and Goldeye short-wave infrared camera will also be shown.

Chicago, Illinois, – Allied Vision will be exhibiting at Automate 2015, the largest North American solutions-based showcase of automation technologies, in Chicago, Illinois from March 23-26, 2015. The latest additions to Allied Vision’s product offerings will be highlighted at booth 746 in the McCormick Place convention center.

More CMOS Sensors Added to the Entry-Level Mako Family

With the ever increasing presence of CMOS sensors in the industry, Allied Vision has added several of these sensors in its Mako camera family. Mako is an entry-level camera with small form factor and great performance that can provide solutions for various applications, such as vision based automation. Four new models further enhance Mako’s versatility: Mako G-030, Mako G-131, Mako G-192, and Mako G-503. The Mako G-030 uses CMOSIS’s CMV300 CMOS sensor and delivers VGA resolution at 309 fps. The Mako G-131 contains e2v’s Sapphire EV76C560 CMOS sensor which offers 1.3 Megapixels at 62 fps. The Mako G-192 uses another e2v CMOS sensor, the EV76C570, to provide 1.9 Megapixels at 62 fps. Lastly, the Mako G-503 contains Aptina’s MT9P031 (mono)/MT9P006 (color) CMOS sensors which deliver 5 Megapixels at 14 fps.

Sony’s new IMX174 CMOS Sensor Now Available in Allied Vison’s Manta Camera

Sony’s IMX174 CMOS sensor combined with the high adaptability of the Manta family has resulted in the Manta G-235. Providing high dynamic range, low noise, and speeds of 57 fps at the full resolution of 2.3 Megapixels, the Manta G-235 is great for industrial applications with varied lighting challenges.

Great Solutions for Infrared Imaging or Tough Application Environments: Goldeye G-033 SWIR Prosilica GT Large Format

Allied Vision will also showcase its short-wave infrared camera (SWIR), the Goldeye G-033, and its large format Prosilica GT camera. The Goldeye G-033 is the fastest SWIR GigE Vision camera on the market, delivering infrared images at speeds up to 300 fps. Its features, such as integrated thermo-electric cooling elements (TEC), on-board image correction, ruggedized housing, and Power over Ethernet, make SWIR imaging possible in a widespread range of applications: semiconductor inspection, plastic sorting, thermal imaging and many more.

The Prosilica GT large format, Allied Vision’s camera with high resolution up to 29 Megapixels, is a great solution for advanced imaging applications requiring the inspection of very fine details. Coupled with features such as Power over Ethernet and camera temperature monitoring, the Prosilica GT offers high image quality in the toughest application conditions.
