Press Release Summary:

Oct 01, 2015 - Software Integration Offers New Wireless Locks with More Compatibility

CARMEL, IND. – Allegion, a leading global security products and solutions provider, today announced a collaboration with its alliance member Sielox – a leading provider of integrated access control and video surveillance solutions – to integrate the Schlage® NDE Series wireless locks with Pinnacle® event-management software.

Sielox is the first to market with real-time integration through the use of the ENGAGE™ Gateway. Sielox will be demonstrating NDE Series wireless locks and ENGAGE™ technology with its 1700 controller and Pinnacle software at booth #1245 during the American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS) International's 61st Annual Seminar and Exhibits, held Sept. 28-Oct. 1, in Anaheim, Calif.

The integration provides the market with a cost-effective and scalable access control solution for end users, and offers the option to utilize existing software with a number of new access control technologies. In real-time, the NDE Series can report updates at the lock or through the ENGAGE™ Gateway when connected to Pinnacle.

"By collaborating with a leading integrated access control provider such as Sielox, we're able to create more software compatibility options for our electronic solutions, including the NDE wireless locks," said Brad Aikin, business leader of electronics at Allegion. "This allows customers the ability to obtain a new level of access control and to extend existing systems to incremental doors with the NDE-Series."

The integration of Schlage® NDE Series and Pinnacle allows companies to grow without the pain of replacing existing event-management software.

With Pinnacle, users can efficiently monitor Schlage® NDE Series wireless locks and easily update user schedules. Additionally, through ENGAGE™ technology, companies can configure lock settings, add users and receive entry alerts from anywhere in the world.
