AEM to Manage New World of Aggregates Show

Events Set for March 2009 in Orlando, Florida

The Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) has joined with the National Stone, Sand and Gravel Association (NSSGA) to provide show management services to NSSGA's new World of Aggregates Forum & Expo.

World of Aggregates will be held March 9-12, 2009 in Orlando, Florida and will be co-located with the next World of Asphalt Show and Conference.

Under the show management agreement between AEM and NSSGA, AEM will be responsible for managing areas such as exhibit space sales and services, registration, housing, marketing and onsite operations. AEM will also provide assistance to develop an education program in conjunction with the exhibits.

World of Asphalt is owned by the National Asphalt Pavement Association (NAPA) along with AEM and NSSGA, and it is held annually except in CONEXPO-CON/AGG show years. AEM also provides show management services to World of Asphalt.

World of Aggregates is intended to consolidate NSSGA's extensive program of educational conferences and workshops into one location as well as offer exhibits of the latest aggregates-related equipment, products, services and technologies. Preliminary estimates are that the show will cover 30,000 net square feet of exhibit space (2,787 square meters).

World of Asphalt is known for its combination of industry focused education as well as exhibits of the latest equipment, products, services and technologies targeting asphalt, highway maintenance and traffic safety industry segment needs.

"We strongly believe in the value of industry partnerships and giving back to the industry, not only for trade shows but in our other core services such as global public policy, technical and safety, and market statistics," noted Melissa Magestro, AEM Exhibits Manager and Show Manager for World of Aggregates and World of Asphalt.

"We strive to provide exhibitors and attendees at any AEM-run event with a positive show experience that meets their business needs in a cost-effective manner," she added.
