SPE European Additives and Colors Conference to Address 3D Printing, Nanotech, and other Fast-Developing Technologies
Organized by the Additives & Color Europe Division of SPE, the Event Will Take Place February 23-25, 2015 in Barcelona
RONSE, BELGIUM: The 9th biennial Society of Plastics Engineers (SPE) European Additives & Colors Conference will focus on new developments in additives, pigments, dyes, and masterbatches, it was announced today by the Society’s Additives & Color Europe (ACE) division, organizer of the event.
The conference, whose theme is “Shaping Aesthetics and Performance,” will take place February 23-25 at the Meliá Sky Hotel in Barcelona, Spain. In addition to technical presentations, the event will include an opening seminar on fundamentals of color technology in plastics, table-top exhibits by industry suppliers, and networking opportunities.
The conference presentations will focus on achieving a better understanding of OEM expectations in regard to additives and colorants; presenting the latest product innovations; and addressing fast-developing trends in “smart” plastics, “cool” colors, 3D printing, and nanotechnology as they relate to additives and colorants.
