Wyle's Bill Perlowitz to Lead Event at Hyatt Regency In Boston, Mass. On Sept. 13 and 14

EL SEGUNDO, Calif.- Wyle's chief technology officer will be serving as a chairperson of the Big Data Innovation Summit, bringing together thought-leaders from the industry for an event noted for its interactive sessions and high-level speakers, to be held Sept. 13 and 14 at the Hyatt Regency in Boston, Mass.

Wyle's Bill Perlowitz, who serves as the chief technology officer of the company's Science, Technology and Engineering Group headquartered in McLean, Va., is one of approximately two dozen industry and government senior level experts speaking at the event. He will serve as chair of the first day of the event.

Other speakers include representatives from Facebook, NASA, LinkedIn, New York Stock Exchange, Walt Disney, Expedia and numerous others.

"Wyle's Hindsight to Insight services in the Big Data arena empower the management, analysis and visualization of large data collection for federal customers, regardless their mission needs or the types of data collected," said Perlowitz.

"As many organizations are now working with unmanageably large data sets, the importance of using and maintaining an analytics platform which can cope with this scale of information is essential."

The Big Data Innovation Summit will help attendees better understand and utilize data-driven strategies and discover what disciplines will change because of the advent of data. With a vast amount of data now available, government agencies and businesses are faced with the challenge of storage, management, analysis, visualization, security and disruptive tools and technologies.

Illustrated intermittently with case studies, interactive panel sessions and deep-dive discussions, this summit offers solutions and insight from the leaders operating in the Big Data space.
