Wilcoxon Research Appoints New Product Manager


Germantown, MD -- Wilcoxon Research, a leading supplier of quality vibration sensors and sensor networks, has selected Renard Klubnik for the roles of Product Manager and Application Engineer.

Wilcoxon is leading the charge in the development of next-generation sensing technology. As an integral part of this ongoing effort, Klubnik will represent the voice of the customer to Wilcoxon's engineering and sales and marketing groups He will also design innovative products for both traditional market segments and new areas of business growth. In addition, as Wilcoxon's Product Manager, Klubnik takes ownership of the entire lifecycle for more than 3,000 existing products.

Klubnik's duties as Application Engineer, in which he will serve as the primary technical representative for Wilcoxon, include customer visits, peer presentations at conferences, and technical writing. With over 30 years of experience in the sound and vibration field and a specialty in machine diagnostics and balancing, he has the knowledge and background to immediately assume these responsibilities.

Klubnik has been an application engineer for several leading firms in the noise and vibration industry, including Bruel & Kjaer, CSI and MB Dynamics. Most recently, he was a reliability manager for a major motor repair facility, assisting them in improving their motor diagnostic capabilities and field services in balancing, machine alignment and ultrasonic detection of bearing failure. He was an independent consultant for seven years helping client companies to better understand their machines using advanced analysis techniques in the field of noise and vibration such as spectrum analysis, machine signature analysis, ODS, and thermography. He has contributed to the noise and vibration community as co-founder of the Northern Ohio Chapter of the Vibration Institute and was its chairman for the first two years.
