Winfield, Kansas - Webster Engineering announces the use of its high efficiency HDS burner for industrial or flexible watertube boiler applications. The use of a specially designed refractory allows the fuel and air to mix properly before entering the boiler chamber, resulting in high turndowns (up to 12:1) and low NOx operation. The Webster HDS will save fuel and reduce emission levels.
The HDS burner series ranges from 8,400 MBH (200 HP) to 67,000 MBH (1,600 HP) with an integral fan and is available with linkage, linkageless, or fully metered control systems. HDS burners also operate with low excess air and offer the flexibility to operate on a wide variety of fuels.
