ST. JOHNS, Mich., Sept. 17, 2008 - Innovative Polymers, Inc., announced today that its comprehensive family of high-performance, mercury-free, RoHS-compliant polyurethanes is now available on the West Coast of the U.S. from Walco Materials Group, Escondido, California.
Among the Innovative Polymers products being distributed by Walco are high-strength, high-heat resistance polyurethanes for hand-, automated- and vacuum-assisted casting of prototypes and parts. The thermoplastic-like polyurethanes are ideal for the rapid production of parts such as impact-resistant bumper and fascia prototypes for vehicles, sterilizable surgical trays, architectural models and castings, sporting goods, consumer electronics, and material handling equipment components.
Innovative Polymers was formed in 1992 to provide prototypers and parts manufacturers with a full line of advanced polyurethanes as well as custom-formulated products. To support the company's ability to respond to customer needs quickly and cost-effectively, Innovative Polymers opened a new 15,000 square foot facility in 2000. The manufacturing plant is designed for bulk as well as custom material production. It also has a fully equipped research and development laboratory and quality control capability.
Walco Materials Group has been a distributor of a broad range of polyurethanes, silicones, adhesives, machinable blocks, and accessories for more than 50 years. Among the industries served are moldmaking, general industrial manufacturing and production of electronics components.
