New Milford, CT: With a strategic emphasis on business expansion into Mexico, Vision Engineering announces the appointment of Ing. Alberto Cuenca as Regional Manager, Mexico, and Fred Modoyan, Western Regional Metrology Manager.
"While Mexico has continually provided business opportunities, we believe that the time is right now for a targeted business expansion program into this country." states David Marks, North America Sales & Marketing Manager. "Alberto Cuenca brings an understanding of the business environment in Mexico along with his knowledge of Vision's product line and how our product fits in with the manufacturing and industrial applications there."
"Alberto's proven success in sales, engineering, and distribution will help us expand our business into new arenas and help us continue to develop strong relationships with customers and distributors," confirms David Marks.
Alberto brings to Vision over ten years of professional experience and increasing leadership responsibilities working in such technologies as electronics, semiconductor devices, wiring devices for communications industry, soldering supplies, and surface mount equipment.
Alberto has a BS in Electronics Engineering and is currently working towards his MBA.
"The addition of Fred Modoyan, as Western Regional Metrology Manager, will give our business the added technical support for metrology applications in the Western United States and all of Mexico, " adds David Marks. "Fred brings a vast knowledge of metrology applications and, particularly, a phenomenal understanding of our industry and business. "
Fred's experience includes over fifteen years working with major measurement equipment manufacturers and as an independent engineering consultant. Additionally, Fred has taught computer programming and technical software programs at the college level.
Fred has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering.
