December 21, 2011 - Hydraulic Institute and Pump Systems Matter announce kick-off of Variable Speed Drives webinar series. Session 1, scheduled for January 13, will consist of Intro 101. Session 2 on January 20 will cover application and installation considerations, while Session 3 on January 27 will focus on protection for VFDs and proper output. Scheduled for February 3, Session 4 will focus on troubleshooting problems with VFDs.

Parsippany, NJ, - Hydraulic Institute and Pump Systems Matter announce the kick-off of their first webinar series for 2012. The Variable Speed Drives four-part webinar series will begin on January 13, 2012.

Variable speed drives in pump systems are now a mature technology that, in correct applications, can generate large benefits to the user in cost savings and reliability improvements.

Following is a schedule for the Variable Speed Drives webinar series:
Session 1 -- Intro 101, January 13, 2012, 1:00-2:00pm EST
Session 2 -- Application and Installation Considerations, January 20, 2012, 1:00-2:00pm EST
Session 3 -- Protection for VFD and Proper Output, January 27, 2012, 1:00-2:00pm EST
Session 4 -- Troubleshooting Problems with VFDs, February 3, 2012, 1:00-2:00pm EST

Advance registration is required and HI Members receive a 25% discount on the regular registration fee. Participants of the Variable Speed Drives webinar series may earn up to four PDH credits.
