Drake Communication Products, Inc is a small certified woman owned business with over 40 years experience as a major manufacturer and distributor of specialized products and services for the communications industry. Drake has been a full time product and service provider to such major switch manufacturers and telecoms as Verizon, Ericsson, IBM, Cingular Wireless, Anixter, Graybar, Fujitsu, Lucent, Cablevision and numerous independent telecoms across the U.S. and internationally.
During the 1970s, Drake developed the circuit card storage rack, a system which could store and protect circuit boards from static damage. These storage racks have the ability to stack on top of each other or side by side within a specially designed steel cabinet, thus providing excellent protection and superior inventory control. As technology changed, the circuit card storage line was updated and improved. A full line of static-protective products was developed and added to our product line.
Our other products include computer workstations and consoles, LAN/WAN enclosures, outdoor climate enclosures, media cabinets, equipment racks, work benches, circuit card transportation cases, central office furniture, seismic protection cabinets, and industrial shelving. These products have been contracted by major telecoms and switch manufacturers for many years.
We have a full time engineering and design staff available for custom layout and new product design. Our computer workstations and related products are specifically designed to meet the customers' needs. We do a complete floor plan, at no extra charge, to optimize performance and make the most of the work space available. Other services include on-site ESD surveys and installations.
We are constantly refining our product line and we take advantage of emerging technologies, enabling us to offer quality products and services.
