Universal Flow Monitors Releases New CoolPoint(TM) Literature
Universal Flow Monitors, Inc. has released new literature describing its CoolPoint(TM) vortex shedding flowmeters for processing cooling water, water/glycol coolant and low-viscosity fluids.
CoolPoint(TM) flowmeters are now presented in a series of specification sheets with revised model codes that make it easier for customers to identify and order the best product for their application.
Universal Flow Monitors has replaced its brochure covering the entire CoolPoint(TM) line with spec sheets for each of the product's three size ranges: small (¼ inch and ½ inch pipe sizes), medium (¾ inch, 1 inch, 1½ inch and 2 inch pipe sizes) and large (3 inch and 4 inch pipe sizes). Each spec sheet includes the product capabilities, electrical and material features, instrument specifications, user-configurable options and any special options pertaining to a particular size range. The revised model code system simplifies ordering of units with required basic features plus options.

CoolPoint(TM) is an electronic flowmeter that is easy to specify and use in most process industries, including automation and robotic applications. The meter is sold by pipe size, and many features are selectable by pushing buttons on the meter face. Product offerings in certain size ranges include a temperature transmitter for flow applications involving heat removal, flow totalization with six-digit LED and pulse output, and stainless steel flow bodies for corrosion resistance.
