Applimotion's ULT Series slotless air-core direct drive frameless motors are gaining popularity in new direct drive applications. New sizes are released weekly covering 60-450mm diameters. The latest slotless versions are optimized for smooth low speed motion for positioning or precision scanning applications. These motors remain true to the ULT ultra-thin origins with very low profile construction and large through hole.
Zero Cogging is the best solution for smoothness. Recent customer requests have forced a mind-shift in design driving large diameter low profile slotless motors. These motor operate from traditional three phase brushless DC or AC sinusoidal servo drives. Windings are available for operation from 12-300 volts DC.
Large Through Hole
The cross section profile of these motors is very thin allowing users to take advantage of a small outside diameter and a large through hole. These direct drive low profile motors frameless motors also allow customers to reduce overall system height.
