Tyler Technologies and La Porte County, Indiana Sign Appraisal Contract


Tyler to provide appraisal services for the 2012 reassessment

DALLAS - September 22, 2010 - Tyler Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: TYL) has signed a contract with La Porte County, Indiana, to provide real property appraisal services for the county's 2012 general reassessment. The services, valued at approximately $1.8 million, include establishing property values for all real property and land parcels, as well as other related services.

"La Porte County has performed their due diligence in carefully examining how the reassessment could be completed as accurately and as efficiently as possible," said David J. By partnering with Tyler, La Porte County is better equipped to meet state and county requirements for future appraisals. We'll also support them through every process to ensure their 2012 general reassessment is completed according to state requirements."

La Porte County has a population of approximately 110,000 with more than 67,000 property parcels.
