Tnemec Company, Inc. Names Joe Davis Vice President of Technical Service
(KANSAS CITY, Mo., September 22, 2008) - Tnemec Company Inc., a leading manufacturer of high-performance protective coatings for industrial and specialized architectural markets, has named Joe Davis as Vice President of Technical Service, according to Chase Bean, executive vice president.
"Since joining Tnemec, Joe has served a critically important leadership role in enhancing the quality of technical support to our customers and representatives," Bean acknowledged. "Joe has addressed Tnemec's technical service growth needs with enhanced training, staff additions, a state-of-the-art technical facility and a professionally organized department."
Davis is active in several industry organizations, including the Society for Protective Coatings (SSPC), the National Association of Corrosion Engineers (NACE), the Construction Specifications Institute (CSI) and the Association of Facility Engineers (AFE). In addition, Davis is a NACE certified coating inspector and instructor, a SSPC certified C1, C2 and Protective Coating Specialist and Instructor and he holds a KTA Level II Certificate for failure and coating analysis.
"Joe has extensive expertise in industrial high-performance coatings application, failure analysis and facility coating evaluation," Bean added. "Joe and his technical service staff travel across the country to ensure that contractors, engineers, architects and building owners understand product application procedures, while also working closely with the research and development of new product introductions."
