TRFA Calls for Technical Papers for 2009 Annual Meeting
Glen Ellyn, IL -- The Thermoset Resin Formulators Association (TRFA) invites the submission of Technical Papers for presentation at the association's 2009 Annual Meeting to be held September 13 - 15 at the Sheraton Station Square in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Technical Paper presentations are essential to meeting one of the association's key objectives, which is to be "the premier forum to interact and exchange knowledge among formulators and suppliers." The 2009 Annual Meeting schedule will include at least three technical paper presentations from each of TRFA's Market Focused Product Groups: Coatings, Civil Engineering and Floorings; Adhesives and Sealants; Composites and Tooling; and Potting, Encapsulation and Electrical. Technical Papers are chosen based on their technical content, the timeliness of the subject, and relevance to TRFA members and the industry. Possible topics include but are not limited to:
o Green Chemistry
o Novel curing technologies
o Developments in nanotechnology
o Coatings techniques for composites, green concrete and application in water
o Academic Research Updates
Persons interested in submitting a Technical Paper for consideration should submit a title and abstract to info@trfa.org as soon as possible.Abstracts must be in English, be less than one typed sheet and include the following information: Name of Author, Job Title, Company, Personal Biography and Contact Information.
TRFA's 2009 Annual Meeting schedule, like those before it, will include the meetings of its Market Focused Committees, a Regulatory Affairs Update, a Tabletop Exhibition, and a General Business Session, as well as unmatched opportunities for informal networking with industry peers.
