TRFA Presentations on Adhesives and Sealants, and Potting, Encapsulation and Electrical



Glen Ellyn, IL--The Thermoset Resin Formulators Association (TRFA) is pleased to announce technical presentations on Adhesives and Sealants; and Potting, Encapsulation, and Electrical scheduled for the upcoming 2008 Annual Meeting, September 14 - 16 at the Hilton Suites Chicago Magnificent Mile in Chicago, Illinois.

The Adhesives and Sealants topic, Alternatives in Toughening, will be presented by William Starner, CVC Specialty Chemicals. Two Potting, Encapsulation, and Electrical topics will also be presented: Fuel Cell Applications, by Paul Kozak and Daniel Ramrus, Ballard; and High Performance - Nanoparticles - Ecofriendly: Innovative Base Epoxy Resins Enabling A New Generation of Composites, by Benot Balmana, Nanoledge, France.

Paper presentations are essential to meeting one of the association's key objectives, which is to be "the premier forum to interact and exchange knowledge among formulators and suppliers." The 2008 Meeting schedule will include presentations from each of TRFA's Market Focused Committees: Coatings, Civil Engineering and Flooring; Adhesives and Sealants; Composites and Tooling; and Potting, Encapsulation and Electrical.

The presentations are just part of the rewarding, 2-day schedule of Technical Papers, Regulatory Affairs Updates, a Table Top Showcase, meetings of TRFA's Market Focused Committees, and the association's Annual Business Meeting planned by TRFA leaders.
