TMI Promotes Three Employees from within to Manage Continued Growth and Product Line Expansion


Chris Cummings, David Rimbey and Bill Habeck Assume New Roles within Company

Pittsburgh, Pa., - TMI, LLC recently announced the promotion of three key employees as the company works to meet the growing demand for its complete line of PVC-based environmental products and energy control doors. Coming off it's most successful year in company history, TMI recently promoted Chris Cummings, David Rimbey and Bill Habeck to new management positions within the company.

Chris Cummings was promoted to division manager for TMI's Save-T Solutions department, which provides energy control and material handling solutions to a worldwide base of customers looking for products that help improve workflow, reduce operating costs and streamline operations. In his new position, Cummings will implement growth and development strategies to increase the level of service TMI provides to its customers. Cummings began his career at TMI's Pittsburgh headquarters, working on the operations side before taking positions as account manager, senior account manager and marketing manager.

David Rimbey assumed the role of Vice President of Operations at TMI to oversee all operational and manufacturing procedures across TMI's three companies, FlexBarrier in Norcross, Ga; Win Plastic Extrusions in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio and TMI headquarters in Pittsburgh, Pa. Prior to Joining TMI, Rimbey served as the U.S. Manufacturing Manager for the North American operations of an engineering plastics extruder near Pittsburgh, PA. David also served as the Equipment Engineering Manager for Sony Electronics where he earned a Black Belt in Six Sigma statistical process control.

Bill Habeck joined TMI's Win Plastic Extrusions in 2011 as a Regional Sales and Business Development Manager. He was recently promoted to General Manager at Win to oversee the day-to-day operations of the company including business development, plant operations and product development. Habeck was also recently promoted to Manager of the Vinyl Solutions Division of TMI. In this role, Bill will work with the Account Management team to continue expansion of the business. Habeck brings more than 24 years of experience in the sales, management and marketing of plastic products. Prior to joining Win Plastic, he worked as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Primary Packaging Inc., a producer of heavy-duty polyethylene bags and sheeting.

Additionally, TMI recently hired three new sales managers, Tony Altimore, Tony Bartuccio and Chris Cowher (Win Plastics), to provide greater levels of service and support. Diana Werkmeister joined TMI as the newest member of the marketing department.
