T. J. Snow to Exhibit at 2013 FABTECH Expo

T. J. Snow, a leader for over 50 years in resistance welding machinery, supplies and service, will be exhibiting at the FABTECH Expo at the McCormick Center in Chicago, November 18th-21st.

Located in booth #N800 in the North Hall of the Chicago’s McCormick Center, the company will feature a Rocker Arm Spot Welder with Unitrol Soft Touch safety technology, a Press type Welder with WeldComputer’s AC Inverter Control and a SlimLine Multi-gun Spot Welder with the new Entron EN6041 Cascade Control and more.

Service engineers Josh Garmon and Randy Darby will be on site to demonstrate how the WeldComputer AC Inverter control can be used on any single phase AC or frequency converter machine. The WeldComputer also provides superior control of SCR and MFDC systems.

The live demonstration will also feature a new simplified low-cost thermal expansion option that allows monitoring of spot weld nugget growth in a simple format.

“We’ve had the ability to measure resistance welding current, voltage and force for many years, but the WeldComputer AC Inverter thermal expansion monitoring feature repeatedly and accurately monitors weld nugget formation, which provides another level of quality control,” said Josh Garmon, T. J. Snow Service Coordinator. T. J. Snow will also exhibit a SlimLine Multi-gun Spot Welder with the new Entron Model EN6041, a single phase AC cascade resistance welding control that communicates directly with Allen Bradley's PLC and touch screen. The control features an intuitive operator interface and logs weld and fault data for cascade spot welding applications.

“We are excited to introduce the Entron EN6041 single phase AC cascade control at Fabtech this year,” said Garmon. “The Communications Service Controller (CSC) feature in the EN6041 allows users to remotely edit and monitor weld parameters with the use of a PLC and touch screen.”
