NEW YORK - Stuart Dean will give architects and design professionals a first look at its new HardCore product line for floor and wall resurfacing, restoration and protection at the American Institute of Architects (AIA) 2014 National Convention, taking place June 26-28 in Chicago at McCormick Place. Stuart Dean will also showcase its Marcoat Epoxy Grout flooring system at its booth (#1813). The AIA National Convention is the industry's leading event for architects and design professionals to attend continuing education sessions, network and learn about the newest products and technologies.

"Every property has an architectural surface that HardCore can address, from classrooms and cafeterias to patios, stairwells and anywhere in the back of the house," said Mark Parrish, president and CEO of Stuart Dean. "We are pleased to showcase these solutions for the first time at the AIA National Convention. The HardCore product line provides a significant value proposition by offering wall and floor resurfacing that is fast, durable and antimicrobial."

Stuart Dean's HardCore product line for floor and wall resurfacing, restoration and protection creates beautiful, durable and cost-effective solutions to new or damaged concrete and other substrates with the application of five advanced products:

-- HardShield: Water-based, clear epoxy sealer for floors, walls and stone
surfaces. Excellent UV resistance, available with a patent-pending
antimicrobial polymer system.
-- HardFlor: Heavy duty " bonded industrial flooring surfaces.
-- HardCote: Customizable coating for walls. Bonds with concrete, metals
and industrial surfaces. Ultra-hygienic, antimicrobial polymer
formulation available.
-- HardCure: High bond, epoxy primer for all surfaces including 24-hour
green concrete curing and moisture remediation.
-- HardCove: 100% total solids, trowelable epoxy used for creating cove
base. Excellent for patching cracks and holes.

Together, all five applications deliver a rapid concrete curing, leveling and reinforcement and antimicrobial surface protection.

HardCore is part of Stuart Dean's ProFormance Series of surface solutions that include advanced technologies that clean, restore and re-engineer surfaces, providing refinishing, polishing, sealing, anti-microbial protection, grout and flooring solutions and facade restoration. The series includes four product lines that are available directly or with professional installation from Stuart Dean. They are water-based, low-/no-VOC products developed to professionally address multi-industry requirements in wall and floor protection, preparation and reinforcement.

The advanced Marcoat Epoxy Grout flooring system offers overnight restoration and doubles grout performance in high-traffic commercial stone and tile floors. The system includes ES (Extreme Service) and GS (General Service) to create the most cost-effective, long-term solution.
