Sodick, Inc. has named Joel Manns Territory Sales Manager for the North Midwest Region. Manns will be responsible for sales support in Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Iowa and boarder counties of Wisconsin. "Joel has the dynamic sales leadership skills Sodick needs to reach shops across a diverse industry marketplace," said Alex Ogozarek, Regional Manager of Sodick, Inc. He will manage the entire Sodick machine product range along with Consumables and will be responsible for supporting customers on a local level.
Manns lives just outside of Minneapolis with his wife, Kris and 1 year-old Twin boys Tanner and Evan. Having grown up in Minnesota he is an avid hunter, fisherman and enjoys watching and playing hockey.
Prior to his position at Sodick, Manns was the Regional Sales Manager in Minnesota, working within the EDM industry. Prior to this position he also worked as a Regional Sales Representative within the industry and had hands-on experience working as a Mold Maker, Tool and Die Machinist and started his career as an EDM Job Shop Machinist. He graduated from Anoka Technical College and the University of Minnesota.
Sodick is excited to have Manns join the team. Manns, being local to Minnesota will help to better serve the customer base there and his extensive EDM knowledge will be an asset to Sodick customers.
