Beresford, South Dakota - Sioux, the number one water heater in the USA, is now even better. Over the past year Sioux has listened to customer suggestions and has made improvements. These additions are minimal in cost but offer great benefits to users.
A gas pressure gauge has been added to the inlet of the gas train on all gas fired water heaters along with a label stating the required flow of gas and operating pressure. An oil pressure gauge has been added on the burner fuel oil pump on all oil fired water heaters along with a label stating the required fuel pressure. These allow the operator to ensure correct gas or oil pressure during startup and operation, to minimize problems during installation, operation and troubleshooting.
Sioux has added a digital temperature control system in the main electrical enclosure on all M Series, PWP Series, HWP Series and M-415 water heaters. This allows the operator to effectively monitor the inlet water temperature and control the desired set point temperature, which will make it much easier to perform installation, operation and troubleshooting.
