Signicast Awarded Manufacturing Process Innovation Award


Milwaukee, WI, February 28, 2008-- Signicast Corporation was awarded for Manufacturing Process Innovation at the 20th annual Wisconsin Manufacturer of the Year Awards. The special award was announced on Thursday night at the black-tie awards dinner and program at the Pfister Hotel in Milwaukee.

The Manufacturer of the Year Awards recognize Wisconsin companies that demonstrate a commitment to business excellence which has a positive impact on the company and the state, making Wisconsin a better place to live, work, and play. A total of 63 Wisconsin companies were nominated for awards. The nominated companies were evaluated in areas such as growth, technological advances, product development, operational excellence/continuous improvement, commitment to employees, and effective research and development. An independent panel of judges, with representatives from business, education, government, and the media, selected the 2007 Manufacturer of the Year Award winners.
